WORLD FOOTBALL SUMMIT COVID-19 IMPLICATIONS ON THE FOOTBALL INDUSTRY

All the sports industry is being directly affected by the Covid-19 sanitary crisis, including football. Calendars have been disrupted since early 2020 as competitions have had to be either postponed or cancelled.

 

Now, as lockdowns are ending and countries are cautiously returning to normal, World Football Summit, in collaboration with SPSG Consulting and with the participation of the members of WFS Advisory Board (among other key stakeholders), aimed to calibrate the overall impact of the crisis on the football industry, looking into its effects on the different football stakeholders and their revenue streams, and the Covid19 estimated impact by geographical areas. This report also considers some of the main football industry opportunities post-covid19.
