During the 7th edition of the World Football Summit, held at the heart of Sevilla, Spain, a remarkable dialogue emerged surrounding growing synergies between football and tourism. At the core of this discussion was the workshop titled "Football Tourism Impact on Destinations," a session guided by Carlos Cantó, CEO of SPSG Consulting, with the participation of top professionals from diverse sectors within the sports realm. The workshop, moderated by the SPSG Consulting team, including Cristina Martí and Josefina Brugnini, was part of the methodology to elaborate the subsequent report - Football & Tourism. This report’s content is also based on the distribution of an online survey answered by industry professionals, SPSG know-how, and a literature review of secondary information, all cited throughout the report.
